Achttien dagen.
Twee weken en vier nachten. Jawel dan trappen wij weer af op de Nederlandse velden.
De tweede klasse in Nederland leek nog nooit zo spannend te worden.
Verschillende affiches krijgen we dit seizoen voorgeschoteld.
Te beginnen met de Limburgse Derby’s, de streekwedstrijd tegen Helmond, de wedstrijden tegen de nieuwkomers uit de hoogste klasse van het land, de veel te verre uitwedstrijden als Volendam of Emmen, de jaarlijkse bekerwedstrijd, dit keer tegen FC Eindhoven. Om er maar een paar te noemen..
Met nog twee oefenpartijen voor de boeg, begint het weer te kriebelen.
Daarbij zijn het nog niet eens de minste partijen, twee clubs uit oer-Hollandse steden.
AZ uit Alkmaar en de Schapenkoppen uit Dordt.
