Robin Udegbe tekent contract
De Duitse keeper die sinds vorig jaar al meetraint met de selectie van VVV-Venlo heeft zondag 2 oktober een profcontract getekend. De jongeling (20 jaar) tekent voor twee jaar met een optie van nog twee jaar. Robin speelde eerder bij TSV Russee, Holstein Kiel, Fortuna Düsseldorf, Rot-Weiss Essen en SC Düsseldorf West.
De in Kiel geboren doelman is blij nu eindelijk een profcontract te ondertekenen bij de Koelclub. “In Venlo voel ik me goed op mijn plaats. Ik woon hier op mijzelf in de buurt van het stadion en tegelijkertijd dichtbij Düsseldorf waar ik in mijn vrije tijd regelmatig te vinden ben. Professioneel gezien krijg ik voldoende ruimte om mijn kwaliteiten te tonen en veel belangrijker; ik heb mijn debuut in de Nederlandse Eredivisie al gemaakt! Ik ben tevreden over mijn eerste wedstrijd daar ik het goed heb gedaan en ook zie dat ik me kan blijven verbeteren. Er is dus nog genoeg uitdaging voor mij. Ik ben trots dat ik deze stap naar professionalisering bij VVV-Venlo kan maken.”
